Yes, this Clarke welder comes ready to weld steel with the use of the fluxcore wire that is included. You will not need the use of gas or a regulator for the fluxcore wire.

Clarke is the actual manufacturer for Clarke products. This Clarke Hot Shot Spool Gun Welder is manufactured in Italy.

This has 13 input amps, but the output is actually 60 amps @ 21 VDC and the max is 85 amps @ 30 VDC.
