It is CUL rated which is the equivalent to CSA. The CSA rating has been applied for and will be coming through any time for this product. We do not carry the MA23-S model.

The maximum wattage this unit can be used with is 10,000 watts. You would need to be sure your unit has the L14/30 or L14/20 amp receptacle on it to work with this transfer switch.

There is no grounding rod required. A neutral ground wire that is integrated with this system does the grounding.

What amperage meter pan does this fit up to 100amp? 200amp?

I realize that this is rated for 30 amps to be input from generator, but what is the maximum pass through current while generator is not in use?(under normal circumstances)

The Generlink Auto Transfer Switch will fit a 200amp or less pan. There will not be any current flowing through the transfer switch when not in use. The transfer switch will not affect the home utilities when not in use.
