Question

Use on a boat

Which of the two models (2001 or 2002) - if either - is for use on a boat. Want to connect from the 30A output to a standard 30A boat shore power receptacle. looks like the plug prongs are different from a boat type on both models. Will the parallel kit work or not? Or would I need an adaptor to go between the Parallel kit outlet and a boat shore power cord?

Staff Answer
The outlet on this parallel kit (model #HPK2011) and the model number HPK2001 is NEMA TT-30. the outlet on the model HPK2002 is NEMA L-5. For marine shore power applications NEMA 14 is usually used. We do not offer an adapter the will convert a NEMA TT-30 or NEMA L-5 outlet to NEMA 14.
